About Me

My name is Andrew Buckingham. I am a husband, world traveler, and web developer, located in Seattle, WA. I believe that technology should make people’s lives better, and I want to work with people who share my postive outlook on life. If you’re looking for an outgoing, diligent, and energetic person to join your team or support your project, please contact me. I'm currently available for hire.

I have been a tech enthusiast since I was a kid, but in college and my early career, I focused more on Asian languages. I learned Chinese in college, and Japanese after I graduated. These served me well for over seven years, while I lived in Japan and made frequent trips to China.

During the end of my time in Japan, I began looking for new challenges. I taught myself C and Python, and I created simple programs, such as a hard drive cloner. I experienced the thrill of creating again, and this time, I was hooked. We live in an exciting time, when people have more opportunities than ever to directly inspire, influence, and help billions of people, all around the world.
